Lycopene Description: Tomato extract is called lycopene, one of the carotenoids, is a kind of natural pigment exists in nature. It was named after the earliest found in the tomato.
The antioxidant activity of lycopene is very strong, it is 100 times of vitamin E and more than 2 times of beta-carotene. The main physiological activity of lycopene is related to antioxidation, skin protection, immune regulation, prostate and so on.
Lycopene has been widely used abroad, such as meat products, beverages, bread, candy, dairy products, etc. And, lycopene has been developed for hundreds of drugs, health foods, functional foods, and cosmetics.
In foreign countries, lycopene is mainly used for UV burns, skin protection, anti-aging, Carotenoid compound, and products for prostate health.
